Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.\u201d\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">9<\/strong>\u00a0So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the Levitical priests, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row hidden-print\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-group-item bst-list-group-item-dark no-top\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12\">\n<h2 class=\"list-group-item-heading\">Joshua 1:9-10<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12 \">\n<div class=\"btn-group btn-group-justified\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"scripture\"><strong class=\"indent-1\">9<\/strong>\u00a0Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. he heard my cry for mercy.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">2<\/strong>\u00a0Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-group-item bst-list-group-item-dark no-top\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12\">\n<h2 class=\"list-group-item-heading\">Psalm 119:48-52<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"scripture\"><strong class=\"indent-1\">48<\/strong>\u00a0I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.<strong class=\"indent-1\">49<\/strong>\u00a0Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">50<\/strong>\u00a0My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">51<\/strong>\u00a0The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">52<\/strong>\u00a0I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row hidden-print\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-group-item bst-list-group-item-dark no-top\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12\">\n<h2 class=\"list-group-item-heading\">Lamentations 3:31-62<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"scripture\"><strong class=\"indent-1\">31<\/strong>\u00a0For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">32<\/strong>\u00a0Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">33<\/strong>\u00a0For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">34<\/strong>\u00a0To crush underfoot all prisoners in the land,\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">35<\/strong>\u00a0to deny people their rights before the Most High,\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">36<\/strong>\u00a0to deprive them of justice\u2014 would not the Lord see such things?\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">37<\/strong>\u00a0Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">38<\/strong>\u00a0Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">39<\/strong>Why should the living complain when punished for their sins?\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">40<\/strong>\u00a0Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">41<\/strong>\u00a0Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven, and say:\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">42<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cWe have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">43<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cYou have covered yourself with anger and pursued us; you have slain without pity.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">44<\/strong>\u00a0You have covered yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">45<\/strong>\u00a0You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">46<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cAll our enemies have opened their mouths wide against us.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">47<\/strong>\u00a0We have suffered terror and pitfalls, ruin and destruction.\u201d\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">48<\/strong>\u00a0Streams of tears flow from my eyes because my people are destroyed.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">49<\/strong>\u00a0My eyes will flow unceasingly, without relief,\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">50<\/strong>\u00a0until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">51<\/strong>\u00a0What I see brings grief to my soul because of all the women of my city.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">52<\/strong>\u00a0Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me like a bird.<strong class=\"indent-1\">53<\/strong>\u00a0They tried to end my life in a pit and threw stones at me;\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">54<\/strong>\u00a0the waters closed over my head, and I thought I was about to perish.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">55<\/strong>\u00a0I called on your name, LORD, from the depths of the pit.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">56<\/strong>\u00a0You heard my plea: \u201cDo not close your ears to my cry for relief.\u201d\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">57<\/strong>You came near when I called you, and you said, \u201cDo not fear.\u201d\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">58<\/strong>\u00a0You, Lord, took up my case; you redeemed my life.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">59<\/strong>\u00a0LORD, you have seen the wrong done to me. Uphold my cause!\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">60<\/strong>\u00a0You have seen the depth of their vengeance, all their plots against me.\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">61<\/strong>LORD, you have heard their insults, all their plots against me\u2014\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">62<\/strong>\u00a0what my enemies whisper and mutter against me all day long.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-group-item bst-list-group-item-dark no-top\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12\">\n<h2 class=\"list-group-item-heading\">John 14:16-17<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-12 \">\n<div class=\"btn-group btn-group-justified\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"scripture\"><strong class=\"indent-1\">16<\/strong>\u00a0And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever\u2014\u00a0<strong class=\"indent-1\">17<\/strong>\u00a0the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. I do not give to you as the world gives.
